Our client, a pioneer in the Australian auto glazing industry, is seeking experienced and dedicated Auto Glaziers to join their team of professionals. This role is ideal for candidates with a profound understanding of auto glass handling, cutting, installation, and repair, combined with a steadfast commitment to quality and safety. The successful applicants will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision installation and maintenance of auto glass in various vehicles, upholding the highest standards of craftsmanship and efficiency.

Applicant Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as an Auto Glazier, with a solid track record in auto glass installation and repairs.
• Must provide evidence of qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Glass and Glazing (Automotive) or similar, alongside a valid White Card as required for construction work in Australia.
• Necessary documentation includes references from previous employment, pay slips, a valid passport, and police clearance certificates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, finish, fit, and install auto glass across a range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and buses.
• Remove old or broken glass, prepare frames, and install new auto glass efficiently and safely.
• Apply sealants or caulking to secure auto glass, ensuring airtight and waterproof seals.
• Conduct on-site assessments to provide accurate quotes and time estimates for clients.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all relevant safety guidelines and regulations.
• Work closely with clients and team members to ensure specifications are met and projects are completed to satisfaction.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry standards, techniques, and materials.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience as an Auto Glazier, evidenced by at least 5 years in the field.
• Certificate III in Glass and Glazing (Automotive) or an equivalent qualification.
• Current White Card, demonstrating an understanding of construction safety standards in Australia.
• Proficiency in using auto glazier tools and equipment with precision.
• Physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy materials safely.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Strong communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with clients and team members.
